The Challenge

Life can change in the blink of an eye, leaving us grappling with uncertainty and fear. Just a few months ago, my mother and I were proud business owners, running a small shop that provided for us and filled our days with purpose. However, this year brought unimaginable hardship. We lost our shop, which was not just our livelihood but our sanctuary.

Then, as if fate had more in store for us, we faced eviction from our rented home by November. The weight of losing everything we worked for is a heavy burden. Grieving the loss of my father, I now find myself as the primary caregiver for my mother, who has always been my rock. This experience has been devastating, and the emotional toll is profound.

Currently, we are living with a relative, which is uncomfortable and temporary. The feeling of being a burden to others adds to our distress. Every corner of our makeshift living space serves as a constant reminder of our struggles.
