Help Me Rebuild My Income and Create a Sustainable Future

I previously worked remotely and relied on that income to support myself and contribute to my family's needs. Unfortunately, my laptop stopped working after my last remote contract ended.

Without a reliable laptop, continuing my remote job search has become much more difficult. It has limited my ability to apply for opportunities, attend interviews, communicate with potential clients and take on work that could help me earn again.

Instead of allowing this setback to stop me, I decided to build a plan that gives me more than one opportunity to generate income.

As a mother of two preparing to welcome my third child, becoming financially independent and being able to contribute meaningfully to my family's needs is deeply important to me.

The rising cost of living has made financial stability increasingly difficult, and I want to create something sustainable that I can grow through hard work and reinvestment.

My Vision — BabyNest Essentials

I am planning to launch BabyNest Essentials, a baby and household essentials shop in Port Harcourt.

The shop will provide everyday products families regularly need, including:

Diapers — Kisskids, Molfix, Softcare and Huggies

Baby wipes

Baby soap and lotion

Detergent

Toilet paper

Air fresheners

Sanitary pads

mothercare products

My vision is to have a physical shop while also accepting orders through WhatsApp and social media, making it possible to serve customers beyond the immediate neighbourhood.

This business will give me an opportunity to build an income stream that I can grow independently while continuing to pursue remote work.
