Empowering 50 Jobless Women & Youths in Umuahia with Practical Skills for Self-Reliance

Unemployment remains one of the biggest challenges facing women and youths in Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria.  Many capable individuals are willing to work but lack access to practical skills, tools, and startup support.

This project is designed to change that reality.

We are organizing a free intensive empowerment training program for 50 selected jobless women and youths in Umuahia. The training will focus on practical, income-generating skills that can help participants start small businesses immediately after the program.

 What We Will Teach:

Tailoring & fashion design basics

Small-scale catering & food production

Hairdressing & beauty care

Digital skills (basic smartphone and online income skills)

Entrepreneurship & financial literacy

 What the Funds Will Be Used For:

Training materials and tools

Instructors/skill trainers

Venue and logistics

Starter packs for selected participants

Feeding and support during training

Printing of certificates.
